Separation of calendars for track day drivers and racers
Gedlich Racing has been running its highly successful “Endless Summer” test and trackday series for 13 years now. From December to March, racing teams and their drivers as well as amateur drivers train with their track tools. From the 2023/2024 season, there will be two separate event series for this purpose. CEO Markus Gedlich: “We are taking the demand situation into account with our decision. We have more and more professional teams that want to test under optimal conditions. For them, there will be a separate series of “Race Tests”, which will be held in the direct run-up to our GT Winter Series races, but sometimes also independently of them. At all Race Tests the number of cars is strictly limited and there will be live timing, driving under racing conditions.
Amateur drivers will have their own event series. Under the well established name ENDLESS SUMMER, the track days offer exclusively top tracks, a lot of service around the car and the journey as well as top hotels and fine locations.”

The most lush winter calendar ever – about 50 days in planning
Gedlich Racing Sales Manager Robin Selbach reports enthusiastically on the new venture: “The expansion of our concept is a win-win for everyone. The Endless Summer feeling brings the incomparable mix of short vacation and track day. And the Race Tests are the optimal tests for professional racing teams preparing for their summer racing series or gearing up for the GT Winter Series, livetiming included.”
Together, the calendars include around 50 days of driving, making it the strongest it has ever been during the winter season. One of the main locations will be Portimao in the Portuguese Algarve. However, Estoril, Jerez, Valencia, Aragón and Barcelona are also on the schedule and will each be combined into so-called “raceweeks”, so that up to 8 driving days can be completed with one journey.

Publication of the preliminary 2023/2024 calendar is expected later this spring. “The proven calendar of this year’s season will serve as a template, expanded by the days needed to extend it to the two target groups,” says Selbach.
